Karachi: On the recommendation of caretaker Chief Minister Sindh Justice (R) Muqoob Baqir, well-known writer, social personality and president of Arts Council of Pakistan Ahmed Shah was appointed as the provincial minister.
According to the details, Arts Council president and well-known social personality Ahmed Shah took the oath of the caretaker minister’s post on Saturday at the Governor House where Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori administered the oath to him.
Provincial ministers, secretaries, writers, artists and journalists participated in the swearing-in ceremony, while Chief Secretary Sindh Dr. Fakhr Alam performed the hosting duties.
After the oath, Governor Sindh, Chief Minister Sindh, Chief Secretary Sindh, writers and friends congratulated Ahmed Shah.
Later, caretaker Ahmed Shah was entrusted with the portfolios of three ministries, he has been given the ministries of Information Department, Minority Affairs and Social Protection Department, the notification of which was issued.
