Peshawar: A policeman was martyred by terrorists firing on a polio team in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the police officials, the terrorists opened fire on the polio team in Nala area of Bara police station, as a result of which the police officer on duty with the polio team was martyred. As soon as the incident was reported, a heavy police force reached the spot.
Officials further say that a terrorist was killed in the retaliatory action of the police. Police have cordoned off the area and started investigation.
