Lahore: Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has taken important decisions on improving the smog situation.

A meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Anti-Smog was held under the chairmanship of Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi in ​​which the current situation of smog was reviewed. Environmental and health experts have offered suggestions for reducing smog and protecting against the harmful effects of smog.

According to the caretaker chief minister, educational institutions will remain closed tomorrow and Saturday, while markets, bazaars and business establishments will remain open tomorrow and the day after as usual. Restaurants and other business houses will also remain open as usual.

He said that from December 18, there will be winter vacations in the educational institutions of Punjab.

The Caretaker Chief Minister has instructed to continue the process of road cleaning and water sprinkling. He has ordered an effective crackdown on smog-emitting vehicles.

Mohsin Naqvi directed that indiscriminate action should be continued against tire burning factories, every human effort is being taken to reduce smog and efforts are being made to keep the air quality index as low as possible.
