In the Election Commission, the contempt of commission case was heard, in which Chairman PTI and Fawad Chaudhry were not presented. The Ministry of Interior submitted its report in this regard. During the hearing, Commission member Nisar Durrani said that according to the Interior Ministry, the situation is not such that PTI chairman can be presented, but a trial can be done inside the jail.

A 4-member bench headed by Member Election Commission Sindh Nisar Durrani heard the contempt Election Commission case, in which Asad Umar, Shoaib Shaheen and Faisal Chaudhry appeared. Chairman PTI and Fawad Chaudhry could not be produced.

Lawyer Chairman PTI Shoaib Shaheen requested to provide a copy of the report of the Ministry of Interior and said that the impression about the case will not go well, on which the commission head Nisar Durrani directed to provide a copy of the report and said that we should stop talking about the impression. Will work according to the law. You want to push the case forward and don’t even cooperate.

When Shoaib Shaheen took the stand of deliberately not presenting, then Member Election Commission Shah Mohammad Jatoi said that he was also not deliberately presenting. The question is, why should we risk presenting them here?

Faisal Chaudhry told about the presence of Fawad Chaudhry in Adiala Jail. Asad Umar said that I have appeared in the Election Commission the most and now I have left politics, on which the member commission said no, you should do politics. Asad Umar thanked and said now I have left politics.
