Karachi: Pakistan Muslim League-N has approached the Election Commission for a level playing field in Sindh.
Sindh Muslim League-N President Bashir Memon has requested in a letter to the Chief Election Commissioner that steps should be taken for a level playing field for all the political parties in the elections.
According to the text of the letter, an organized corrupt network is operating in the province and the People’s Party is holding rallies in collaboration with the local administration in Sindh. Despite the passage of time, PSP officers are still posted in Sindh, the allegations should be investigated.
Speaking to the media, PML-N Sindh President Bashir Memon said that he met the Chief Election Commissioner today, in which he requested him to provide a level playing field in Sindh.
Bashir Memon said that we have faith in Caretaker Chief Minister Maqbool Baqir but he is held hostage by the bureaucracy, the bureaucracy around him misleads him, fingers are raised on the guidance given by the Chief Minister. Therefore, there is no trust in the bureaucracy of Sindh.
He said that last time the PPP got 3.8 million votes while the opposition got 6.4 million votes. Unfortunately, the officers who remained in the PPP government are being transferred to other districts to influence them. If this trend continues, it will be transparent. Elections will not be held.
