Karachi: A case has been registered for the horrific fire incident at RJ Shopping Mall on Rashid Minhas Road.

The case of the horrific fire incident in RJ Shopping Mall on Rashid Minhas Road on Saturday morning was registered in Shahrah Faisal Police Station under the complaint of Sub Inspector Sadaruddin Mirani.

The case was registered against the shopping mall builders, passing the map, issuing NOC despite defective material, the current management of the shopping mall, the electric and fire brigade of the non-fulfilling responsibilities.

According to the IFIR text, a fire broke out in the RJ shopping mall at 5 am which immediately engulfed the entire building. People trapped in the building resorted to stairs and an electric lift to save their lives.

People in the mall were burnt due to the heat of the fire. The injured were transferred to different hospitals by ambulance, many of the severely injured died during treatment.

There was no fire-fighting equipment in the mall building and there was no commotion. It is strongly suspected that the fire in the shopping mall was caused by a short circuit.

In the examination and investigation, everything will be seen that who passed the map of the shopping mall building and how the firefighting clearance was given, the collusion of KE and other agencies, the passing of laws against the building, the use of poor materials and negligence were shown. Due to the loss of precious lives and many people were injured.
