Karachi: The series of robberies in police uniforms could not stop in Shahr Quaid, another incident of alleged robbery of policemen in the limits of Tipusultan police station came to light.
According to the details, near Baloch Colony Bridge, police officers allegedly looted a Suzuki full of goods and then fled. Petitioner Muhammad Imran says that he is a resident of Baldia Town and on November 23, near Baloch Colony bridge, the alleged policemen stopped and robbed the Suzuki which contained oil cotton.
Petitioner Imran says that the police did not register a case even after detouring Tipu Sultan police station.

On the other hand, Caretaker Chief Minister Sindh Justice (R) Syed Maqbool Baqir has sought a report from the IG Sindh, taking notice of the robbery of policemen at Baloch Colony bridge.
The caretaker chief minister of Sindh ordered the immediate arrest of the policemen involved in the robbery and issued orders for legal action on the complaint of a citizen named Muhammad Imran.

Caretaker Chief Minister Syed Maqbool Baqir says that no one involved in crimes can be spared, if law enforcers themselves become part of crimes, how can the society live in peace.
Caretaker Chief Minister Sindh has assured to provide justice to the victim.
It should be noted that a few days ago in Orangi Town, the policemen under the leadership of DSP had committed a robbery worth crores of rupees at the house of a businessman, in which they had also taken away several tons of gold from the house, while the house present at the time of the incident Two men were also taken hostage, who were later released at Baloch Colony.

DSP Umeer Bajari and SSP South have been implicated in the investigation of the case, while DSPs, officials and private party people have also been arrested.
