Rawalpindi: Pakistan Army sentenced 2 retired officers to 12 and 14 years of imprisonment with hard labour.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), Major (retd) Adil Farooq Raja and Captain (retd) Haider Raza Mehdi have been sentenced to 14 and 12 years of rigorous imprisonment respectively.
The two retired officers were convicted by a field general court martial for inciting military officials to mutiny.
According to the spokesperson of Pakistan Army, the ranks of both the retired officers have also been confiscated from November 21, 2023 as punishment.
