Islamabad: The accountability court has ordered PTI chairman to appear in court on Monday in the 190 million pounds scam.
The accountability court has issued a written order to extend the physical remand of the former prime minister and PTI chairman in the 190 million pounds scandal. Judge Muhammad Bashir issued a five-page order.

According to the order, Deputy Prosecutor General NAB Sardar Muzaffar Abbasi applied for another 10-day physical remand. NAB said that Ali Zafar appeared in the NAB office on November 23 on the summons of an advocate and provided the relevant records to NAB. He also provided the record of the agreement dated March 24, 2021 to NAB.
According to the court order, the NAB officials said that the National Treasury has to conduct an investigation regarding the money transferred, which requires further remand to complete the case and bring the case to a final conclusion. Safai’s lawyers opposed the further remand and submitted 2 letters. . A letter dated November 6, 2019 is related to Mashreq Bank. The lawyers said that Chairman PTI has nothing to do with the transfer of money.
According to the order of the accountability court, the lawyers said that Chairman PTI has nothing to do with the transfer of 240 kanals of land. Chairman PTI built 2 cancer hospitals, 3rd one is under construction in Karachi. NAB officials said that the remand is necessary to examine the records provided by Ali Zafar. Court approves physical remand for 4 days instead of 10. Chairman PTI should be produced in court again on November 27.
