Lahore: A high-profile advertisement suspect wanted in dozens of cases, including murder, was arrested from Iran.

According to the police, the wanted accused was involved in dozens of other serious crimes including murder, attempted murder and extortion, who killed 4 people of the same house in Tatlewali Gujranwala area last month.

Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Syed Mohsin Naqvi and IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar took notice of the incident and gave the task of immediate arrest of the accused, on which the team of Special Operations Cell traced the accused Abdul Jabbar alias Jabaru and arrested him from Iran.

The accused Abdul Jabbar, who was arrested through the coordination of Punjab Police, FIA and Interpol, has been transferred first to Gwadar and then to Gujranwala via land route. The accused was wanted by the police in a total of 14 serious cases.

IG Punjab while congratulating the police team on the arrest of a dangerous advertiser has said that the success of the crackdown for the arrest of dangerous advertisers wanted in serious crimes is commendable. The legal process will be completed as soon as possible and the culprit will be punished. He said that the RPOs, DPOs should monitor the operations themselves to arrest the fugitive advertisers abroad.

It should be noted that the total number of advertising suspects arrested from foreign countries this year has reached 137.
