Karachi: Globo Rani actor Osama Javed Haider won the International Award for Best Actor.
Osama Javed Haider, the actor of actress and director Osman Mukhtar’s horror film ‘Galabu Rabi’, has won the international award for the best actor at the ‘Bucharest Shortcut Cinefest’.
Usman Mukhtar, the director of the film shared pictures of Osama Javed Haider on Instagram and shared the news with his fans and also told how the young actor surprised them just by his work, passion and determination.
Usman Mukhtar wrote in the caption that ‘I am very proud of this child. I met him during a shoot in Lahore where we did a scene together. After watching this kid’s 9-minute monologue, I was impressed with his acting and amazed by his performance. He is a brilliant and hard-working actor.
Director and actor Usman Mukhtar congratulated actor Usama Javed for winning the international award for his film Gulabo Rani. Usman Mukhtar also revealed that Osama Javed Haider was battling cancer during the film.

It may be recalled that Usman Mukhtar’s short film ‘Galabo Rani’ was released on 11 April 2022, which also won the Best Short Film Award at the Los Angeles Science Fiction Horror Film Festival.
