Islamabad: The Anti-Narcotics Force has decided to challenge Hanif Abbasi’s acquittal in the ephedrine case in the Supreme Court.
According to Express News, ANF has decided to challenge the acquittal of PML-N leader Hanif Abbasi in the ephedrine case in the Supreme Court.
In the application filed by ANF, it is said that time should be given to prepare the case and obtain relevant documents, however, we can appeal against the decision in the Supreme Court. A deadline of 14 days has been given, an appeal will be filed after completion of the deadline.
It should be noted that the Lahore High Court had acquitted Hanif Abbasi in the ephedrine case on October 18. The trial court had sentenced Hanif Abbasi to life imprisonment.
