The United Nations says that with one billion dollars, it will be possible to provide humanitarian aid to 5.2 million people in Turkey for 3 months.
Earlier, the United Nations has appealed for about 400 million dollars in aid for the victims of the earthquake in Syria.
The total death toll from the earthquake in Turkey and Syria has reached 42 thousand.
