Karachi: The investigation of the incident of robbery at the house of a businessman in Orangi Town area of ​​Shahr Quaid has been completed. The inquiry report has revealed that police officers and personnel were involved in the robbery. On the orders of the IG, DSP was arrested while SS. P was removed from office.

DIG West submitted the inquiry report to IG Sindh Rafat Mukhtar Raja. In which the negligence and carelessness of SSP South Imran Qureshi and DSPUT Umair Bajari were mentioned while legal action was also recommended against them.

According to the details, between Saturday and Sunday, the Ship District South Police raided a house located in Orangi Town No. 5, in which the police party looted 2 crore rupees and 60 to 70 tolas of gold while robbing the house.

According to the CCTV footage of the incident, police mobiles and private vehicles surrounded the street during the robbery and the police officers and officials searched the house, then they fled after committing the robbery.

After the CCTV footage of the incident came to light, IG Sindh Rafat Mukhtar Raja formed an inquiry committee headed by DIG West Asim Qaim Khani. On which DIG West has prepared an inquiry report within 24 hours and sent it to IG Sindh.

In the 11-page inquiry report received by Express News, the illegal raid of the District South Police was declared as “robbery”. Qureshi, DSP UT Umeer Bajari, Shaheen Force personnel and 5 private persons have been held responsible.

According to the inquiry report, police officers and personnel are involved in Orangi Town robbery, SSP South and DSP were found guilty in the robbery, the statements of SSP South, DSP Umair Bajari were recorded in the report. are

The statement of the policemen involved in the illegal raid was also recorded in the report. The report revealed that private persons entered the businessman’s house in Orangi Town and searched the house, but no illegal items were recovered from the house.

SSP South asked SSP West to return the money and other items, legal action was recommended against the police party and others involved in the robbery.

The inquiry report revealed that the money found in the house was in a black bag and this money was in possession of DSPUT Umeer Bajari who was handed over to SHO Defense a day later by SSP South. And SSP South ordered that this money be handed over to SHO Pirabad.

The inquiry officer of the case Asim Qaim Khani has also recorded the statement of SHO Defense Shaukat Awan and SHO Pirabad Imran Khan in the inquiry report.

SHO Defense says that this amount was Rs 1 Crore 5 Lakh which was provided to me and ordered to hand over this amount to West Police. DIG Asim Qaim Khani in the inquiry report recommended departmental and legal action against DSP Umeer Bajari and said that private people were also used in such serious crimes.

He wrote in the inquiry report that legal action should also be taken against the private people present in the raid, action should also be taken against DSP’s staff policemen Khurram Ali and Faizan Ali in the raid, while SSP South It has shown negligence and carelessness by not sending the trained team in this raid.

On the order of IG Sindh, DSP Umeer Bajari involved in the robbery was detained while SSP South Imran Qureshi and DSPUT Umeer Bajari were also removed from their posts.

The IG Sindh has ordered to register a case against the police party involved in the robbery of 2 crores in Orangi Town and the series of raids has started to arrest the accused involved in the illegal raid of the District South Police.
