Riyadh: This Islamic year, about 5 million foreign pilgrims had the privilege of performing Umrah.
According to the statement issued by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, during the Islamic year that began at the end of July 2022, 4.8 million foreign pilgrims had the privilege of performing Umrah.
The ministry further informed that 43 lakh 29 thousand 349 pilgrims arrived by plane. 5 lakh 7 thousand 430 by land route while 3 thousand 985 by sea route arrived to pay Umrah.
A total of 1 crore, 351 thousand 731 pilgrims arrived in Madinah from King Abdulaziz Airport and visited Masjid Nabawi ﷺ and Rasool’s Tomb.
