Lahore: The smog situation in the provincial capital has once again gone out of control, on which a smart lockdown has once again been imposed in 10 districts including Lahore.
According to the authorities, the air quality index was recorded at 309 in Lahore, after which a smart lock has been implemented in 10 districts including Lahore on the instructions of the caretaker provincial government, as a result of which all educational institutions, government offices have been closed, traffic has been restricted. Due to the increase in smog, citizens are complaining of breathing problems and eye irritation. Medical experts have advised citizens to use masks and goggles.
Deputy Commissioner Lahore Rafia Haider says that all assistant commissioners and officers of Baldia Uzma are present in the field to implement the orders. Teams are engaged in operations to remedy the smog. Strict action will be taken against the polluters.
