Islamabad United defeated Karachi Kings by 4 wickets

Karachi: Islamabad United defeated Karachi Kings by 4 wickets in Pakistan Super League 8.

In the third match of the Pakistan Super League played at National Stadium Karachi, Islamabad United achieved the target of 174 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the 19th over.

Golan Munro scored 58 runs while Azam Khan scored 44 runs on behalf of Islamabad United. Reci van der Dosen was out with 31 runs and Faheem Ashraf with 12 runs.

Tom Curran returned to the pavilion not out after scoring 10 runs.

On behalf of Karachi Kings, Muhammad Amir and Muhammad Musa took 2 and 2 wickets while captain Imad Wasim took 1 wicket.

Karachi Kings set a target of 174 runs against Islamabad United

Earlier, batting first at the invitation of Islamabad United, Karachi Kings scored 173 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Haider Ali scored 59 runs for Karachi Kings. Sharjeel Khan 34, Irfan Khan Niazi 19, Shoaib Malik 18, Matthew Wade 18, James Vince scored 4 runs.

Captain Imad Wasim could not score any runs.

On behalf of Islamabad United, Muhammad Wasim Jr., Tom Curran and Raman Raees took 2, 2 while Faheem Ashraf got 1 wicket.
