Karachi: The Sindh High Court has remarked during the hearing of a case that the Karachi Development Authority is an unnecessary, useless and useless institution.

In front of the 2-member bench of Sindh High Court headed by Justice Nadeem Akhtar, the hearing of the case related to non-termination of encroachment despite the orders was held, in which the lawyer stated that the petitioner Faiz Muhammad Lashari had bought a plot in Gulistan Johar Block 40 in 1991. Bought No. A2 and A3. The plot of KDA was seized. Possession of the plot should be terminated or an alternative plot should be given.
The court was angry with the DA officials for not ending the encroachment despite the orders. Justice Nadeem Akhtar remarked that the Karachi Development Authority is an unnecessary, useless and useless institution. Justice Nadeem Akhtar said that it is being repeatedly asked to implement the court orders. If we start implementing the court orders, we will go to the petitioner’s house and give the plot. Justice Nadeem Akhtar rebuked the Director Land and said that KDA is not fulfilling its responsibility as per law.
Justice Abdul Rahman inquired from Director Land that on which floor is your office in Civic Center? Director Land said that the office of KDA is on the third floor. The court inquired that on which floor is the office of anti-encroachment officials? Director Land said that his office is also on the third floor.
The court remarked that anti-encroachment officers also have an office on the same floor of the same building, so why are they not ending the encroachment? How can it be said that the anti-encroachments do not respond? We are giving last minute. Provide an alternative plot to the applicant or terminate the possession. The court summoned the Director General KDA in personal capacity for the next hearing.
