It has been decided to renovate, decorate and restore the historic Quaid-e-Azam House in Peshawar.
Commissioner Peshawar has directed to rebuild old style tuff tiles and roofs in Quaid-e-Azam House built in 1935 in Nishtarabad area and old style plastering on walls.
A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Peshawar Afaq Wazir to review the condition of ancient and historical buildings in Peshawar, in which it was decided to renovate and restore the historic status of the historic Quaid-e-Azam House in Peshawar Nishtarabad. The owner of Quaid-e-Azam House was also specially invited in the meeting.
The dilapidated Quaid-e-Azam House will be renovated with old-style tuff tiles, while the roofs will be reconstructed in the old style and the walls will be plastered with old-style red plaster. It has also been decided to renovate the historic Sikh Gurdwara in Peshawar Dabagri and restore its historical status.
