Karachi: Near Korangi Warehouse Chowrangi, a 22-wheeler trailer killed a motorcyclist, the deceased was a father of 2 children and an employee of a private TV channel.
Like most of the accidents in Shahr Quaid, the driver of the trailer responsible for this accident also managed to escape from the spot. So far this year, the number of people killed in traffic accidents in the city has exceeded 600.
According to the police, a person riding a motorcycle died after being hit by a high-speed 22-wheeler trailer near Godam Chowrangi in Korangi Industrial Area. His body was shifted to Jinnah Hospital. The deceased was identified as 49-year-old Imran Ahmed Siddiqui son of Abrar Ahmed, a graphic designer in a private TV channel and a resident of House No. A/25 Sector 7 D3 North Karachi and father of 2 children.
Imran Ahmed Siddiqui was going home after finishing work from the office between Tuesday and Wednesday night. The police have seized the trailer.
