California: Instant messaging application WhatsApp is going to introduce a new feature to provide more security to users’ private conversations.
According to a report by WhatsApp Beta Info, WhatsApp is going to provide users with a PIN code facility to make their chats more private, which will hide the chat from prying eyes.
In the screenshot released by WhatsApp Beta Info, it can be seen that a secret code can be applied by turning on the option to hide the chat under a new option.
Later to reveal the hidden chat users need to enter the code in the search bar which will bring up the hidden chat.
The screenshot shows that the feature is currently in its infancy and is only available for WhatsApp beta users to use.
However, the owner company Meta has not announced the final date regarding the introduction of this feature.
