Rawalpindi: One terrorist was killed while two soldiers were martyred during the operation of security forces against terrorists in North Waziristan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, on the night of November 12 and 13, the security forces acted on information about the whereabouts of terrorists in Mir Ali district of North Waziristan.
Meanwhile, a fierce exchange of fire took place between the security forces and the terrorists in which one terrorist was killed while two youths were martyred in the fierce exchange of fire.
According to ISPR, 25-year-old Abdullah Mardan and 19-year-old Sepoy Mohammad Sohail were residents of Tharparkar who embraced martyrdom.
Spokesman of Pakistan Army said that the scope of operation has been extended in the surrounding areas to eradicate the terrorists found in the area.
The ISPR statement said that the security forces are committed to end the menace of terrorism while such sacrifices of our brave soldiers strengthen our resolve.
