Karachi: The increase in the number of stolen vehicles and motorcycles in the city opened the pool for the performance of police officers and SHOs appointed in the name of merit.

CPLC has released the ongoing crime statistics across the city for the month of October, which showed an increase in the number of stolen vehicles and motorcycles in October compared to September.

According to the report, last month in October, the accused escaped from different areas of the city by stealing 25 vehicles and 817 motorcycles worth crores of rupees, while 182 vehicles and 4 thousand 396 motorcycles were also stolen.

Apart from this, 2 thousand 446 citizens were also deprived of their mobile phones in the incidents of street crimes last month, while 62 citizens were killed in the incidents of murder.

Last month, from October 1 to October 31, the accused involved in car lifting gangs from different areas of the city deprived the citizens of a total of 207 vehicles and 5 thousand 213 motorcycles worth crores of rupees, in which 25 vehicles were stolen while 182 vehicles were stolen. 817 motorcycles of the middle class were stolen and 4 thousand 396 motorcycles were stolen.

According to the data, a total of 2,446 mobile phones were stolen from citizens during street crimes in different areas of the city last month in October, 3 cases of kidnapping for ransom and 10 cases of extortion were reported in the city. , a total of 62 people were killed during the killing spree in the city while an incident of bank robbery was reported last month.
