Air ambulance service of Edhi Foundation restored after five years

Karachi: The Air Ambulance Service of Edhi Foundation, Pakistan’s largest welfare organization, has been restored after 5 years.

After the resumption of flight operations of Edhi Foundation for medical emergency, 2 patients were brought from Quetta to Karachi by the first flight, both patients are suspected to be infected with Congo virus.

Edhi Foundation has received technical support for its Air Ambulance from Sky Wings Aviation after which Edhi Air Ambulance has been reactivated after many years.

The Edhi Air Ambulance aircraft will use the call sign skywings for flight operations.

It may be noted that since 2019, Edhi Foundation’s Air Ambulance Service was inactive due to technical reasons.
