Karachi: The traffic section officer (SO) Risala in Shahr Quaid showed honesty and returned the amount of Rs 4 lakh to the citizen.
The citizen had parked the motorcycle from the new parking area outside the City Court with Rs 4 lakh cash in its cover pocket.
In this regard, SO Risala Sub-Inspector Mohammad Qasim said that a citizen named Huzaifah had come to the city court for some work and had parked his motorcycle in the new parking area. Which was lifted by the traffic police lifting staff and brought to Risala Traffic Section.
After reaching the traffic section, the staff noticed that something was kept in the pocket of the cloth cover attached to the bike and when it was checked, cash of Rs.4 lakh was found, on which they seized the said cash. .
Meanwhile, a citizen named Huzaifa came nervously and told that my bike was taken from the parking area with cash in it.
SO Risala said that he took the citizen to his office and handed over the cash recovered from the cover pocket of the motorcycle to him.
Expressing great surprise and happiness at the return of the money by the traffic police officer, the citizen thanked the SO magazine and praised the honesty of the traffic police for their services.
The citizen said that the traffic police did their duty very well, he was very worried after the money went out of hand, but thanks to the honesty of the traffic police, I got my money back, for which I am deeply grateful to them. .
