Karachi: The Caretaker Chief Minister has expressed his anger over the non-implementation of official rates in Sindh.
On behalf of the caretaker chief minister of Sindh, letters were issued to the commissioners of Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana, Mirpur Khas and Shaheed Benazirabad.
Justice (retd) Maqbool Baqir said that according to reports, the district administration is failing to implement the official rate and the consumers affected by inflation are being charged more. The prices of all daily commodities including fruits, vegetables and meat should be regulated.
The Caretaker Chief Minister of Sindh also expressed his anger over the non-implementation of instructions to control the prices from time to time.
Justice (Rtd) Maqbool Baqir directed that appropriate action should be taken against the retailers while providing full relief to the people. He ordered the Commissioners to issue instructions to all the concerned Deputy Commissioners to implement the official rates.
