hango: During a raid by the police, a group that made fake identity cards for Afghan citizens was arrested.
DPO Nisar Ahmad Khan said in a press conference that a group of 14 members who were making Pakistani identity cards for foreign Afghans have been arrested. In the arrested group, 14 people including village secretary Nadra officials are involved who were arrested.
The DPO said that action is on to arrest 8 involved persons including the NADRA officials who were making identity cards for Afghans.
The DPO said that the said gang used to mislead an old woman and take identity card and document in the name of her Zakat. Cases have been registered against the accused under Foreign Ordinance.
