Karachi: The price of flour in Karachi came down significantly, after successful negotiations between the Commissioner and Flours Mills It has been decided to sell flour to the public at the official rate from wholesale and retail markets and mills.
According to Express News, successful negotiations were held with Flour Mills Association in the meeting chaired by Commissioner Karachi, after which it was decided to apply the official price of flour.
It was decided in the meeting that after the reduction of 11 rupees, the wholesale price of fine flour became 130 rupees and the retail price was 134 rupees per kg, while the price of two and a half flour was reduced by 8 rupees and the wholesale price was fixed at 120 rupees and the retail price was 127 per kg.
This week, wheat fell by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 105 per kg, imported wheat fell by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 97 per kg.
After the reduction in the prices of wheat and flour, the prices of bread, double bread and bakery products will also be reduced, for which the Commissioner Karachi has also summoned bakery owners and bakers on Saturday.
