Sukhan Investigation Police arrested the stepfather of the deceased while solving the mystery of finding the tortured body of a young child.
According to the details, the deceased child was adopted by his mother to her friend who did not have any children here.
In this regard, Chaudhry Nawaz, the in-charge of Sukhun Investigation Police, said that on October 18 last month, the body of a 3-year-old unknown child was found in the area of Sukhun. Therefore, a post was also shared on social media to identify the child’s body.
He said that a citizen named Nasir contacted the police and said that the found body was that of 3-year-old Aman, whose missing case was registered in the Saudabad police station by the child’s father Aamir on October 23, while Nasir told the police that the deceased Aman was adopted by his mother.
Later, the police went to the deceased Aman’s father, who works as an electrician in a private company, and he started giving conflicting statements to the police regarding the child’s body and disappearance, on which the police detained him and interrogated him due to suspicion. So he confessed to killing his son and throwing the body.
The police said that the deceased child Aman was born in September 2020 and was adopted by his mother Farah to her friend who did not have any children. He used to quarrel with his wife because of adopting the child.
Chaudhry Pervaiz said that the couple who adopted the child often took Aman home to meet them and the child’s father Aamir himself used to take the child home. He did not return it while the adoptive husband and wife were also insisting him to return the child to them, but he did not do so, while the accused’s wife also cried and went away.
The police said that the accused is giving conflicting statements regarding the killing of the son, in which he said that the child used to call him uncle, not papa, while the accused also said that Aman had slipped and fell. Due to which he died.
After the arrest of the accused, the investigation police also identified the place where he had killed the innocent young son and dumped the body.
