Lahore: The JIT formed by the Punjab government to investigate the May 9 incidents has summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf leader Asad Umar for questioning.
Punjab Government’s JIT has directed Asad Umar to appear at DIG Investigation Office Lahore Qila Gujar Singh on November 1 at 4 pm.

According to the police, Asad Umar has been directed to appear in connection with the investigation of 5 FIRs. Apart from this he has been summoned in FIR No. 96/23 Sarwar Road Lahore Case, 1271/23 Gulberg.
