Peshawar: The Provincial Task Force of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided to establish elite force in the former tribal districts and merge the levies and police in Malakand division.
According to the details, in the task force meeting held under the chairmanship of caretaker chief minister Azam Khan, it was decided to align the police force with the requirements of the current law and order situation.
In the meeting, it was directed to complete their training in modern style while establishing elite force. The task force directed the immediate recall of the police personnel posted on duty with the unauthorized persons.
The Task Force was also directed to speed up the work on the establishment of Safe City Project and Forensic Science Laboratory in Peshawar, while it was recommended to take up the matter of transfer of judges and judicial staff in North and South Waziristan and Orakzai with the Peshawar High Court.
In the meeting, it was decided to hold a meeting of the Provincial Task Force for Amalgamation every two months regularly, while the caretaker chief minister clarified that due to non-payment of financial resources by the Centre, the province is suffering from problems and problems of amalgamation. Not being resolved.
The provincial task force also approved the construction of a high security jail in the province, while educational and economic plans have also been prepared for the annexed districts.
