The Rawalpindi Bench of the Lahore High Court annulled the decision to seal the Lal Haveli of former Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed.
High Court judge Justice Mirza Waqas Rauf delivered the verdict. The decision to cancel both ownership registries of Lal Haveli was also declared null and void.
The High Court ordered that Lal Haveli be immediately de-sealed, the reference department chairman will conduct a fresh hearing about Lal Haveli.
Speaking to the media outside the court, Sheikh Rasheed said that Lal Haveli is our property, we are ethnic and original. Leave everything to Allah. Pakistan Army is our great army, General Asim Munir fixed the economy. General Asim Munir and General Nadeem are working for Malik.
Sheikh Rasheed said that May 9 was a cursed program, he was with the army yesterday and he is still with the army today. I apologize for any mistake.
It should be noted that Lal Haveli has been the political seat of Sheikh Rashid Ahmed for 36 years.
