Lahore: The mysterious death of former DIG Investigation Lahore Shariq Jamal Khan took a new direction, the family declared the death of Shariq Jamal Khan as murder.
According to Express News, Nishtar Colony Police has registered a case on the request of Shariq Jamal Khan’s daughter Hania Shariq.
The named accused include Qaratul Ain, Mansoor Elahi, Samiullah Niazi, Shoaib, Imran Javed Butt, Adeel and Sagheer.
It has been stated in the FIR that DIG Shariq Jamal Khan was killed by poisoning as part of a plan, he was receiving death threats.
According to the FIR, there are mobile phone messages against the accused as evidence.
Before the murder on July 21, the deceased discussed various matters with the family members, the deceased said that there were USD 8 crore worth, 5 lakh cash and valuable documents in the safe.
The deceased Shariq Jamal Khan had also invested in property and fuel business.
According to the FIR, the mysterious death of Shariq Jamal Khan was reported at 12:30 pm. After the murder, the safe was found open and domestic and foreign currency and important documents were found missing.
It has been stated in the FIR that the accused Qarat-ul-Ain committed the crime with the help of other accomplices and the accused also tried to make the murder an accident.
Shariq Jamal Khan’s daughter Hania Shariq has said that the accused are influential and are influencing the police investigation, the accused should be arrested and justice should be provided.
