A terrorist was killed in an intelligence operation in Tirah area of Khyber
Peshawar: Two soldiers of Pakistan Army were martyred and one terrorist was killed in two incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to ISPR, an intelligence-based operation was conducted in Tirah area of Khyber district.
After a fierce exchange of fire, one terrorist was killed while two terrorists were injured and arrested by the security forces.
Arms and ammunition were also recovered from the possession of these terrorists. Terrorists were involved in terrorist activities against security forces in the area and target killing of innocent civilians.
In another incident, an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded in a general area of South Waziristan’s Survekai district. The explosion killed two brave soldiers; Sepoy Banaras Khan and Sepoy Abdul Karim were martyred.
A sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate the terrorists present in the area.
Spokesman of Pakistan Army says that the security forces of Pakistan are determined to end the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers strengthen our determination.
