Karachi: Shaheed Beazir Bhutto Training College Razzaqabad police officer Waqas Chachar died during training. IG Sindh sought details from Principal SBB Training College Razakabad.
According to reports, policeman Waqas Chachar was doing elite course and the final test of running was on Friday morning, while the weather was hot due to the strong sun, Waqas collapsed in the last lap while running.
As there was no proper arrangement for immediate medical assistance at the Razakabad Training Centre, the policeman was rushed by his colleagues to a nearby hospital in an ambulance where he could not survive.
The police officers on training have demanded from the higher authorities that an impartial investigation should be conducted into the incident of Waqas’s death.
In this regard, several attempts were made to contact Principal Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Training College Razakabad Iram Awan on his mobile phone, but his position could not be known due to the fact that the phone was switched off.
It should be noted that the management of the training center is declaring the death of police officer Waqas Chachar as a heart attack.
