Lahore: Police arrested the accused who raped a pregnant woman on the pretense of a job.
According to SP Model Town Amara Shirazi, SHO Liaquatabad Sheikh Imran conducted a successful operation along with the police team and arrested the accused from the Liaquatabad restaurant using modern technology.
The SP said that the accused called the woman to his house and gave her drugs and raped her while she was unconscious. The accused also threatened to kill the victim Aster and make the video viral.
He further said that the accused Al-Akas is the cousin of the victim Aster, a case has been registered against the accused and handed over to the gender cell.
SP Amara Shirazi has announced the awarding of certificates of appreciation to the SHO and the team.
