Suspects involved in bank robbery in Karachi arrested in 12 hours, looted money recovered

Karachi: The police of District Central of Shahr Quaid arrested a five-member gang of robbers involved in a bank robbery in Shadman Town and recovered Rs 80 lakh in cash.

According to the details, a day ago, armed suspects had robbed a private bank in Shadman Town by taking hostage all the staff including the guard and escaped with cash.

After the incident, the police arrested 5 suspects involved in the bank robbery, Ishaq, Siddique, Abdul Ghaffar, Mansoor and Imran, with the help of CCTV footage on technical devices and recovered all the money stolen from the bank.

Police also recovered 3 pistols used in the incident, 12-bore repeater and 30-bore pistol seized from the bank guard and 2 motorcycles used in the incident.

During the investigation, it was revealed that the arrested accused Ishaq and Ghaffar had also carried out bank rickies a day ago, while in the footage, the accused Ishaq and Mansoor were also seen collecting money from the bank counter and putting the bags they brought with them and both of them Ghaffar. As soon as he entered the bank, the guard had to take away his weapon.

The arrested accused are related to each other and their ancestral relation is from Rahim Yar Khan while the arrested accused Ishaq has been working as a security guard since 2010. Has been arrested while Siddiq was arrested once by Shaara Faisal and Mansoor once by Soldier Bazar police and went to jail.

In this regard, SSPSIU Junaid Sheikh, when contacted, said that thanks to the joint efforts of the District Central and SIU police, the suspects of the bank robbery were immediately traced and brought to justice, while Karachi Police Chief He has also announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for the police party.
