He said that fructose is the factor that slows down our metabolism and reduces appetite control, but fatty foods are the main source of calories that cause weight gain.
Fructose is a natural sugar that is usually found in small amounts in fruits such as apples and bananas. Fruit consumption is unrelated to this problem, but fructose is used as an added sugar to sweeten many foods.
