Bank robbery in Shadman Town, the robber escaped after looting Rs 87 lakh

Karachi: During the robbery incident in a private bank located in Shadman Town, the robbers managed to escape after looting 87 lakh rupees.

According to the details, contrary to the claims of the police officers, street crime and robbery incidents are continuing in Shahr Quaid, 6 robbers entered the private bank located in DA Flats of the residential apartment in Shadman Town No.1 area of ​​Noor Jahan police station area in Shahr Qaid and committed robberies. After controlling the security guards posted in the bank, took the bank staff and the bank account holders hostage at gunpoint and started looting.

The robbers looted lakhs of rupees from the bank in a few minutes and managed to escape by snatching weapons from the security guards and firing easily. The Crime Scene Unit was also called immediately.

SSPSIU Junaid Sheikh also reached the spot and after visiting the crime scene and reviewing the evidence, talking to the media representatives, he said that during the robbery incident in the bank, the bandits escaped after looting a total of 87 lakh rupees. The number of armed robberies involved in the incident was 6.

He said that the robbery in the bank was carried out after a complete check-up, the robbers knew that the security of the said bank was low and the robbers took advantage of it. The SSP said that the robbers stayed in the bank for 20 to 25 minutes and fled after completing the transaction. There is only one camera installed outside the bank, but the police is getting the footage from other CCTV cameras around the bank to find out. The escape route of the accused could be known.
