Karachi: Salaries of 29 Sindh Police officials have been stopped after it was revealed that they were involved in smuggling.

During the time of former IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon, on the basis of the information report, officers and officials of Kashmore, Sukkur, Jacobabad, Shikarpur, Karachi, Hyderabad and other districts were arrested for smuggling Iranian petrol and diesel, non-customs paid vehicles and other goods. He was said to be involved in supporting smugglers.

Based on the report, more than 30 police officers and personnel were blacklisted and ordered to report to “B” Company and they were directed to report to Headquarters South.

However, these officers and personnel ignored the orders of IG Sindh and did not report to the Garden Headquarters or went on leave without permission. Payment of salaries to officials has been stopped.

A letter has been written by the Additional IG Establishment to Shad Ibn Masih, in which it has been stated that 29 police inspectors, assistant sub-inspectors, head constables and police constables across Sindh are involved in smuggling, so payment of their salaries has been stopped. go

Among the police officers are Police Inspector Iqtar Hussain Jatoi of Kashmore district, Hanif Khoso of Sukkur, Mir Ahmad Leghari, Abdul Rashid Marfani posted in Shikarpur, Deen Muhammad Leghari of Kashmir, Babar Ali Kanhoro posted in Jacobabad and Shikarpur, Nawab Ali Chana, Maula Bakhsh Kanhoro. , Manoor Ali Junejo, Muhammad Khoso, Khaliqur Rahman Mehr, Najamuddin Darishani are included.

Apart from them, Shiraz Hussain Niazi, Nawab Khan Makko, Mohammad Khan Kattu, Zubair Ahmed Soomro, Nader Ali Laghari, Ahmed Ali Lashari, Daim Ali Bhiyo, Ayaz Khedro of Larkana Range, Alam Jatoi, Aamir Chandio of Hyderabad Range and Karachi South Zone. Mazhar Hayat did not report in “B Company”.

Similarly, Allah Bachayo of Hyderabad Range, Imtiaz Ahmed Mirjat of South Zone, ASI Arshad Arain, Khalid Danu of Hyrabad Range, Abdul Hameed, Allah Bachayo, Fayaz Bhatti, Mohammad Asif and Abdul Sattar are also absent from “B Company”. There are those whose salaries have been stopped.
