The limit for depositing IT export receipts in the Exporters Specialized Foreign Currency Account has been increased.
Allowed to keep 50% of IT exports in Exporters Specialized Foreign Account.
Previously the foreign exchange holding limit in exporters’ specialized accounts was 35 percent of export receipts.
Freelancers will now be able to open primary accounts from home or by going to the bank, along with exporters’ specialized account for freelancers.
Freelancers can deposit 50% of their earnings or $5,000 per month, whichever is higher, into their exporters’ specialized accounts.
IT persons will be able to make global payments with money deposited in exporters’ specialized accounts and prior permission of State Bank will not be required for global payment to IT persons.
Banks have also been instructed to issue debit cards for exporters’ specialized accounts.
