Karachi: A young man riding a motorcycle was killed by unknown armed suspects near Shaheed Millat Road underpass.
According to the details, a motorcyclist was killed by unknown armed suspects near Shaheed Millat Road underpass in Firozabad police station area on Sunday morning.
The deceased youth was identified as 20-year-old Danish son of Sheikh Rizwan Ahmed, the deceased youth was a resident of PIB Colony Press Quarters.
According to SSP East Irfan Bahadur, the victim was killed by a single bullet in the head, while no evidence of robbery was found at the scene, the victim had all the things including mobile phone and wallet. It will be possible whether the incident is a result of robbery resistance or some other matter. Police are investigating on various aspects.
After taking legal action, the police shifted the body of the deceased youth from Jinnah Hospital to Khypa Mortuary. Later, the police called the deceased’s father to the police station, a letter was sent to the police station to receive the dead body.
Sheikh Rizwan Ahmed, the father of the slain youth, said that the police were not cooperating and many hours passed but the facts were not revealed.
The father said that he was on his way home from night duty when he was shot, his son used to come home in the morning. . He said that if the footage of the cameras installed near the crime scene is obtained, the facts will come out.
He demanded that the accused involved in the murder of his son should be arrested and practical steps should be taken to prevent street crime incidents.
