Islamabad: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq contacted Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas by telephone and discussed the situation in Gaza in detail and assured Pakistan’s unwavering support to the Palestinians.
According to the statement issued by the spokesperson of the Prime Minister’s House, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar made a telephone call to discuss the situation resulting from the recent atrocities committed by the usurping Israeli army on innocent Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. The Prime Minister strongly condemned the continuous, indiscriminate and worst shelling of Palestinians by the Israeli occupation forces, especially the shelling of Al-Ahli Hospital. The Prime Minister described Israel’s bombing and aggression as deliberate and despicable.

As a result of which more than 3000 Palestinians have been martyred and about 12000 thousand injured.
The two leaders emphasized that the international community should immediately play its role in stopping this massacre by Israel. The Caretaker Prime Minister said that Pakistan has also sent the first batch of aid to its Palestinian brothers and sisters which has reached Egypt yesterday.
The Prime Minister also reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for a just and lasting solution to the Palestinian conflict.
