There is no level playing field in the country, there is soft martial law, Senator Mushtaq

Islamabad: Senator Mushtaq Ahmed of Jamaat-e-Islami has said that there is no level playing field in the country at present, but soft martial law.

While talking to the media outside the High Court, Senator Mushtaq Ahmed was asked what he thinks about the return of Nawaz Sharif, is there a level playing field in the country?, to which he said that there is no level playing field in Pakistan at the moment. . Currently there is a soft martial law in Pakistan. Everything is done under the deal.

Senator Mushtaq Ahmed said that there is no civilian supremacy in Pakistan at present. At this time, big events are happening in Pakistan, they are happening in Gaza. I repeatedly demanded, wrote letters to call a meeting of the Senate to discuss these things. There is no level playing field if the Senate is not convened.

Senator Mushtaq Ahmed, while paying tribute to the national players, said that they are all against Israel’s atrocities in Gaza, on the issue of the Pakistan cricket team’s players posting the Palestinian flag on their social media accounts. Pakistani players supported Gaza. I congratulate the players of Pakistan.

He said that I demand from every section of Pakistan to support Gaza. I think that this is a campaign of conscientious people all over the world. Not only Pakistani players, players from all over the world have supported the victims of Gaza.

Speaking to the media outside the High Court after the hearing of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui’s case, Jamaat-e-Islami Senator Mushtaq Ahmed said that the court heard Dr. Aafia Siddiqui’s case on priority basis. The court also asked the government seriously about the progress at each hearing.

He said that Aafia Siddiqui is imprisoned in the worst prison in America. Among the more than 10,000 prisoners in the jail, Aafia Siddiqui is kept in the worst condition. Aafia Siddiqui’s imprisonment for so long is the result of the government’s lack of interest. Meanwhile, Aafia is in prison due to the criminal negligence of all governments.

Senator Mushtaq Ahmad said that Aafia Siddiqui is under strict conditions, meeting her is strict, the facilities in the jail are strict. I contacted the Caretaker Prime Minister by telephone when he was on a visit to America. Asked the Prime Minister to take up Aafia’s case in America, but it was sad that he neglected it like the previous governments.

He said that we demand the government to give a road map in this regard because there are legal and political ways for the return of Dr. Aafia.
