Beijing: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar has said that Pakistan has blind faith in China and will not allow anyone to harm its partnership with China.
He expressed these thoughts in a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing on Thursday. Heads and Prime Ministers of 140 countries met in the Great Hall of the People on the sidelines of the Third Bullet and Road Farm.
The caretaker prime minister also emphasized that Pakistan will stand firmly by China’s side and will not allow the bilateral partnership to suffer.
During his opening remarks at the meeting, Prime Minister Kakar reiterated Pakistan’s strong support for China and emphasized that Pakistan’s commitment will be expressed not only in words but in action.

The Prime Minister shared the message and pictures on the social media site regarding this meeting and wrote that ‘Meeted the Chinese President in the public hall, in which we discussed various dimensions of the multilateral Pak-China relations and economic and trade. Congratulations on the tenth anniversary of the relationship.
Prime Minister Kakar made it clear that Pakistan has no intention of withdrawing from close relations with China.
Meanwhile, President Xi gave a warm welcome to the Prime Minister and the accompanying delegation, including Caretaker Federal Minister for Finance Shamshad Akhtar, Caretaker Federal Minister for Interior Sarfraz Bugti, Caretaker Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Jalil Abbas Jilani and Caretaker Federal Minister for Trade, Industry and Commerce Gohar Ijaz. were included.
The Prime Minister also pointed out that the eight proposals presented by the Chinese President at the forum are very important and interrelated. He described the Belt and Road Initiative as a pragmatic and practical response to the political, economic and cultural challenges faced by many nations around the world.
Prime Minister Kakar acknowledged that China’s unprecedented development served as a global role model, changing the lives of millions of people. There is unanimous support for China in all political structures of Pakistan.
In response, the Chinese president said that China is ready to work with Pakistan to further strengthen its traditional friendship and deepen bilateral partnership. He reiterated his commitment to accelerate the development of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) with commitment to high quality development while working for regional peace and development.
