The US dollar has eased in the interbank and open markets during business today.
The dollar became 278 rupees 50 paisa after getting cheaper by 1 rupee 79 paise.
Yesterday, the dollar closed at 280 rupees 29 paise in the interbank.
On the other hand, the dollar depreciated by Rs 2 to Rs 279 in the open market.
A positive business trend is seen in Pakistan Stock Exchange today.
Pakistan Stock Exchange 100 index increased by 272 points to 49 thousand 703.
100 index closed at 49 thousand 531 points at the close of business yesterday.
