Missing person present in court, judge angry with police for seeking time for recovery

Rawalpindi: The judge reprimanded the police for seeking time to recover the missing person despite his presence in the court.

The case related to the disappearance of Shahryar Afridi’s brother Farrukh Afridi was heard before the Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench, in which DPO Jhelum asked the court for 7 days to recover Farrukh Afridi.

In front of Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan, DPO Jhelum requested that 7 days time be given for the recovery of Farrukh Afridi, to which the court reprimanded and said that Farrukh Afridi is present in the court room and has been released. You are so ignorant of the matter. Freed Farrokh Afridi is asking for more time to recover, here is your information?

After Farrukh Afridi’s release, the court disposed of the petition and ordered that the petitioner’s mobile phone and seized items be returned.
