3-day national mourning announced in Turkey and Jordan over Al Ahli hospital tragedy

Ankara: Turkey and Jordan have announced a three-day national mourning over the Al Ahli hospital tragedy.

After 500 people were martyred in the Israeli airstrike on al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza, there is great outrage around the world and the terrible and humanitarian war crime of the Zionist Army is being strongly condemned.

Violent protests were held in different countries of the Middle East on Wednesday. Thousands of people took to the streets in Lebanon, Jordan, Yemen, Egypt, Tunisia and the occupied West Bank to show solidarity with the citizens of Gaza.

Thousands of people gathered outside the US and Israeli embassies in Amman, the capital of Jordan. Islamic parties in the country went on a general strike, while the Jordanian government has announced three days of mourning.

Turkey also announced a three-day national mourning to show solidarity with Palestine.

Protesters clashed with security forces in Lebanon’s capital Beirut. Police used water cannons to disperse protesters near the US embassy.

A protest was held outside the French embassy in the Tunisian capital. In Cairo, Alexandria and other Egyptian cities, students rallied and chanted at universities to condemn Israel’s airstrikes.
