Petition filed in Supreme Court for speedy hearing of trials of civilians in military courts

Islamabad: An application was filed in the Supreme Court for early hearing of the trials in civilian military courts.

Citizen Junaid Razak filed a petition in the Supreme Court regarding early hearing of the case, requesting that the case be fixed in the third week of October.

The petitioner contended that the trials of civilian military courts have been initiated, in violation of the Supreme Court’s August 3 order to initiate trials of civilians.

The petitioner said that early hearing of the case would be in accordance with the principle of dispensational justice.
