Two robbers managed to escape
Karachi: Pakistan Bazar Police killed two in an alleged encounter with four motorcycle-borne robbers in Orangi Town, two robbers managed to escape.
Jamshed Quarter and PIB police arrested 4 bandits including 3 injured in the alleged encounters and recovered weapons, mobile phones, motorcycles and other items.
According to the details, Pakistan Bazaar killed two robbers in an alleged encounter in Gulshan Zia Sector 11.1 Block D Altaf Nagar Orangi Town on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday.
The deceased robber was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital by ambulances.
According to SHO Pakistan Bazar Inspector Shakeel Rind, knowing 4 people on two motorcycles as suspects, the mobile police party on patrol chased the motorcyclists to stop them, then the motorcyclists started firing. .
The police also fired back at the accused, 2 robbers were killed on the spot by police firing while two robbers managed to escape from the spot, two pistols, a motorcycle, two mobile phones and cash were recovered from the slain robbers. The process of identifying the robbers is going on.
Jamshed Quarter Police arrested 2 robbers with injuries after an alleged encounter near the shrine of Noori Shah, between Monday and Tuesday night. The arrested accused were identified as 25-year-old Robert Masih son of Akram Masih and 24-year-old Nayerson Masih son of Ashiq Masih.
A pistol, mobile phones, some cash and a motorcycle were recovered from the arrested accused. The arrested accused have been involved in several incidents of theft, street crime and robbery. The accused will be further investigated after treatment.
PIB Colony Police arrested 2 robbers including an injured one after an alleged encounter at Hasan Square University Road. The injured robber was shifted to Civil Hospital for medical treatment.
According to the spokesman of Karachi Police, the injured robber was identified as Kamran son of Zainullah, while the other arrested accused gave his name as Karamat Masih son of Sundar Masih. The arrested accused have been involved in robbery, street crime and other serious crimes.
